About Us

The name ‘Hunza Camp’ reflects the heritage of the Hunza Turks, whose origins trace back to the Hun Turks dwelling along the Pakistan-India borders. Renowned for their exceptional longevity, with lifespans often reaching around 120 years, the Hunza Turks have captured the interest of scientists and health experts worldwide. What distinguishes this community is not just their longevity but also their robust health profile, marked by the remarkable absence of cancer and common ailments like diabetes, arterial blockage, and heart failure.

In the Hunza Turk community, it’s striking that half of the population is over 65 years old, and what’s even more astonishing is that women continue to bear children well into their late 60s and early 70s. This phenomenon challenges conventional beliefs about reproductive limits and underscores the exceptional health and vitality of these people.

The lifestyle of the Hunza Turks is a subject of great intrigue. Their diet primarily consists of fresh, organic produce, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole grains. They cultivate their food in terraced fields, using age-old farming practices that prioritize soil health and sustainability. Additionally, their diet is low in animal fats and high in omega-3 fatty acids, thanks to their consumption of apricot kernels and wild-caught fish from nearby rivers.

Physical activity also plays a pivotal role in the lives of the Hunza Turks. Their mountainous terrain naturally encourages walking and climbing, fostering cardiovascular health and muscle strength. They engage in daily activities like tending to crops, herding livestock, and walking long distances, all contributing to their overall fitness and vitality.

The Hunza Turks’ lifestyle is not just about diet and exercise; it’s a holistic approach to well-being. They prioritize community and family bonds, fostering strong social connections that promote mental and emotional health. Stress is minimized through a harmonious way of life, close to nature and in tune with the changing seasons.

Scientists continue to study the Hunza Turks to unravel the secrets behind their exceptional health and longevity. The absence of cancer and other prevalent diseases among them raises questions about the impact of diet, lifestyle, genetics, and environment on human health. By understanding and adopting elements of the Hunza Turk lifestyle, we may glean insights into extending healthspan and improving overall well-being in modern societies.

Our Team

Tuğba Ciğerdelen

Born in 1974 in İzmir.
With the establishment of private channels over time, my relentless work motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, and most importantly, openness to innovation and development have brought me to where I am today. The world is constantly changing within a dynamism. Adapting to this change, skillfully harnessing the winds of change, brings success. Those who cannot bring new customs to the old village, or those who do not want to, have melted away rapidly in the face of these winds of change. Being open to innovations is the foremost value in breaking the mold.
On this path that I embarked upon with hosting, I have never limited myself, nor have I focused on a single area. I found myself integrating wherever there was a deficiency in any department, which led me to learn more and become more equipped, bringing along power and courage.
I don't remember how many programs we made, how many hours we worked. But what I do know is the significant positive transfer that the master-apprentice relationship in the visual media world has brought to my professional life. I remember myself sometimes in the studio, sometimes in the control room, and in endless long meetings due to my hosting. And I'm still working tirelessly, still producing without getting tired, maintaining a pace that has lasted more than a quarter of a century.
Now, I am a wife and a mother, enjoying the beauties that life has offered me. Touching your lives as Hunza Camp on this journey with the experience I have gained and will continue to gain over time is a great honor for me. In this journey where you can find so much within yourselves, we are here to open happy sails to the flow of life by combining our energies and conducting activities with love and enthusiasm, tirelessly. With our professional team, we are always by your side.

I came into this world on a summer day in 2000 in Izmir, Turkey. My sports journey began at a young age under the guidance of my mother, leading me to explore various sports until I professionally encountered mountain biking in 2015. Alongside numerous achievements in mountain biking, including winning the Turkish championships in 2016 and 2017, I also represented our country as a national athlete in many international races.

In 2022, I graduated from Akdeniz University with a degree in Physical Education and Sports Teaching.

Following this, I received training in:

Kangoo Jumps
Aero dance
Aqua fitness
Aqua board
Aqua jump
Aqua step
Aqua bike
With these qualifications, I worked as a professional instructor in the above disciplines during the 2022 and 2023 seasons at hotels owned by Voyage and Titanic groups.
Now, I am part of the Hunza family, here to provide the joy of exercising in rhythm on the path to achieving your goals.
